A NEW GLANCE AT FERRARI 599XX WITH MOTORSPORT.COM

For the 2011 season, KENNOL and Motorsport.com are to team up with Scott TUCKER’s Level 5 organization. You’ve already seen our logos and talents together at Sebring (LMP2 victory) and Long Beach (LMP2 victory too!), but right after that, you may have missed the 599XX « event » at Infineon. Fortunately, Motorsport launched the exclusive video of the 599XX test this week! Fasten your seatbelt, and please enjoy the trip.


Since last year, Scott TUCKER is testing and working with Ferrari North America, in order to develop the amazing lab called Ferrari 599XX. This concept embodies the future of GT cars in many ways, and even if technologies are what most people focus on with this car, the mechanical and technical features, as well as clever design, are clearly modern interpretations of what a race car is. Or should be!

Team owner Scott TUCKER and Level 5 are involved in this program since the very beginning. We’ve already discussed in these articles at KENNOL | News what the car is all about, what the concept is used for, what this monster is made of, and how the innovations find their way, step by step, to production or at least to race car compatible solutions. Lately, we’ve seen Scott winning the first ever Ferrari Challenge race with a 458, and many of the new features of the 458 Challenge race car are directly issued from this 599XX here.

Many people see this program as a fancy way for rich billionaires to spend their money into Ferrari’s R&D while they think they are real drivers. And Scott TUCKER could be the perfect example for this narrow-minded way of seeing the 599XX. But let us remind you that Scott is a 3-time US national driving champion in Ferrari Challenge, has been elected Rookie of the Year 2010 in ALMS and 2010 LMPC-ALMS Champion!

And since the guy is found of cars, he really is into other GT cars addicts too!
